Padded paws walked the bank of O'ar creek without a sound. Motoki smelled the fresh, clean air, sighing a happy sigh.
"Peace and quiet for once...."
Laying under a tree, the black wolf smiled. She was alone at last, though she didn't find it all that great. Honestly, she didn't like being by herself, it was... weird. Sometimes even creepy, especially in the forest. Hearing the water inch down stream was a pleasant sound to the fae's ears.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Silvara walked to the creek. She was once again walking through the forest that she had only begun to learn about. She loved the area and was so glad that she had left her old home, even if it meant leaving behind everything she loved.
At the moment, she was taking in the beautiful site of all the trees, and wanted to see the creek again. When she was close she felt anothers presence.
Motoki!
She yelled at the site of her old friend. She hadn't seen her in who knows when. Silvara ran towards her, only to see that she didn't seem as happy as she remembered her.
Are you alright?
She asked, then remained silent while her presence was made known.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Turning her head to Slivara, Motoki's eyes widened at the site of her. She couldn't believe that the dragoness was still around. Awhile ago, the wolven thought that she had went back to her homeland. Guess she was wrong about that assumption.....
"Hi Silvara!"
Motoki stayed where she was and responded to her friend's greeting with a huge smile on. At the presence of her second question, the fae's grin turned into a frown...
"Not really...."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Silvara, who was happy a moment ago, was suddenly upset at her friend's answer. She walked over toward her and sat down next to her.
What is it?
She spoke with deep concern. And, she really did care about Motoki. Silvara maybe didn't know her that well, but she still cared about her. She wondered what had happened during the time she was gone. So many things could have happened. Why did she leave?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Well... it's a lot of things... I'm pregnant for the second time.... I've lost three of my first pups..."
Motoki started to cry softly. She was very happy to see Silvara though. Having a friend who she thought was gone for good was comfort to her eyes. The fae often wondered what was going to happen next in her messed up world. Things never went right....
"I really don't know what to do..."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Silvara was so sad to see Motoki cry. She was even more upset to hear that three of her puppies were missing. She started to get tears in her eyes as well.
There, there
She spoke softly, and began stroking Motoki's fur to try and make her feel better.
Things will get better, don't worry. You'll find your puppies, I'll help you find them if you want. Just don't worry, everything is going to be alright.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Well... one of them is gone for good... she... died..."
Motoki bursted into tears, not able to contain herself. She couldn't think about Rede's death, it was to heartbreaking. All she wanted was for her family to be normal again. She wasn't able to think straight anymore...
"Why can't anyone care....?"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Silvara remained calm, and continued to stroke Motoki's fur as she listened to her words. She was so sorry for her, it must have been horrible to have her own child die. Silvara couldn't bare the thought of it. She went on trying to calm her down.
Dear, I care. Don't worry. Even if everything is going wrong, I'll still be there for you. Now calm down, everything will be okay.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Good to know someone does.... I don't even know if my mate does...."
Thinking about Kaarn made her upset and worried. He didn't talk as much and seemed depressed lately, not like himself...
"He doesn't seem happy that I'm pregnant again..."
Hanging her head low, she started to stop sobbing. At the moment she didn't care what Kaarn thought. She could care less, actually....

She frowned. She didn't like to see her friend so upset like this.
I'm sure he does care. I'm sure. He may be going through something. It is a shock to most people when someone says they're pregnant. Don't worry, things will get better.
She looked Motoki in the eyes, then added.
I promise.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Well... Kaarn can go jump off a cliff."
Looking up and Silvara, she gave a worried face and sighed, going over to the creek to get a drink of water. Only a couple moments later, she cam back and lied beside Silvara.
"A lot happened while you were gone for months on in... Kyoto left the Forbidden Forest.... Kaarn's my mate now... new inhabitants have arrived."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Silvara noded.
Ah, yes, I remember them. Kyoto, the nice one. And Kaarn's your mate? I never would have guessed you two would end up together. And... what was his name?... Oh yes! Eden used to call him magic boy.
She smiled and gave a little laugh.
Speaking of Eden, have you seem him recently? Now that I'm back I sure would like to see him again...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thinking hard, Motoki just realized she hadn't seen Eden in a long time. Where could he be? She didn't know what to tell Silvara, so she just let out the truth that came to mind.
"Honestly, I haven't seen him in a long time..."
It didn't make any sense to the confused femme. Eden was one of those who was often seen. Was he ok? Giving Silvara a smile of reassurance, she stood up and started to speak again....
"Let's go find him. I'm sure he's here... somewhere. He probably misses you as you do him."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Silvara smiled at Motoki.
Are you feeling well enough? I would love to, and while looking for him we can look for your puppies too. I'm sure we'll find them all.
She looked at Motoki, waiting for her response.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Frowning, Motoki looked at Silvara with doubt-filled eyes.
"They aren't going to be found... maybe Layza, but defiantly not Sheshek or Rede... at least for now. And I feel fine! Let's go!"
Cocking her head, she gestured Silvara to follow her. Turning her view to the forest ahead, she started entering the dark, tree covered area...
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Silvara got up from where she sat, and after flexing her wings a bit, went to follow Motoki. She wondered where they would go. She really wanted Motoki to find her puppies, it was just horrible that they were lost. Even if she doubted that they would be found, Silvara wanted to make sure that they tryed.
As she followed Motoki, she stared out into the forest that she had seen some time ago. It still seemed strange and unknown to her, and she had no idea how to get anywhere. She hoped that Motoki knew they way, for it would not take very long for them to get lost if they didn't. But maybe being lost would help them find the ones they were looking for? Things just work like that sometimes, but you never know. So Silvara just followed along behind Motoki.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Before anyone could blink, the gentle-brute known as Llewellyn stumbled over a root (drat those hidden roots) only to land right on his face in front of a dragoness and a wolf-shifter.
"Oh, hello. Haven't seen others for... a while," he said with a sort of lopsided grin, getting up quickly and running a hair through his messy golden-brown afro uncomfortably.
"Have, pardon me if I seem a little rude for not introducing myself, you seen a short boy. Black hair. Black eyes. Bad temperament? Oh, and a shifter," he said quickly. It was obviously the tall, golden godly-looking man was good friends with the person he had just insultingly (yet fondly) described as Eden.
Well, sometimes weird things occur. Like two people looking for someone, then another person who they've never met before is looking for that same exact person and stumbles upon them (literally, I might add).
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
With an intrigued face, the black wolf smiled to the boy kindly. She came to the conclusion he was looking for the same person as Silvara and herself. Eden
"Actually... we're looking for someone of that description..."
Turning her head toward Silvara, she whispered to her in a soft tone.
"I think he's looking for Eden too... freaky."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The lion-wolven shifter shrugged. Coincidences happened, though often for a reason. This reason must've been a good one, perhaps, then.
"Ha ha, so he doesn't use his real name? Hmm, I never knew he was so fond of the codename I gave him," he said, rubbing his chin thoughtfully. Then he continued to chuckle, everything seemed so amusing to this odd brute.
"So, you two are looking for him as well? I suppose it is a sign we all ended up together, eh?"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Nodding, the wolf shifter agreed. It made perfect sense that they fell on the same road. Together, maybe they would find Eden...
"I guess that's right! We better get going if we want to find him, huh?"
Running a bit up ahead, she look at the forest beyond. It was so deep and dark. Creepy and cold. Would they make it through the forest safe and sound with a newfound Eden tagging along, or just run into more trouble?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The golden god stuck his hands in the pockets on his dirty and ripped-up jeans, making a mental note to get a new pair soon. Oh... along with a new shirt.
"Well, my name is Llewellyn. Call me Lyn for short, and don't rag me on about how it's a girl name, 'cause I heard it all," he said with a charming wink. "Besides, We all have our downfalls, I could easily find yours."
He said that threat with a broad grin, so it was really sort of hard to tell whether he was ill-meaning or just playing around.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Motoki rolled here eyes and introduced herself as Lyn had.
"Well, I don't think I would tease you for such a name as yours, so do not worry. My name is Motoki, nice to meet you."
Looking toward Silvara, she wondered why she was lagging behind a bit. It almost seemed as if something was going wrong.
"You ok Silvara?"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Silvara smiled at the newcomer, and hurried to catch up with Motoki. She had been falling behind, but that was just because her thoughts had started wondering.
Nice to meet you, Lyn. No, we wouldn't make fun of, nor think of it. I'm Silvara. It's quite weird that we end up looking for the same person...
She nodded her head as if agreeing with herself, and went to stand beside Motoki as she was before she fell behind.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Walking at Silvara's side, Motoki let her mind wander freely, thinking of what was to come in the near future. Questions and confusion filled the femme's head as she continued on the forest path. Everything seemed to come to a complete blank stop.
"What am I going to do...."
Coming back to reality, Motoki started talking to Silvara.
"I really hope we don't get lost... that would suck..."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
He just put on a smile and nodded, glad that the two he was probably going to be traveling with for a while weren't the kind to nitpick at his every downfall.
"Ah, thanks," he said simply, walking a bit behind. He wished he could watch television again sometime, despite that he hadn't grown up with it, he was a bit of an addict. Except to those silly talk shows. Those bore him. "Have you guys... ever watched television?"
