Cloaked figure stepped up to the hot spring, delicate hands pulling the cloak over her head and hung it on a nearby branch, revealing a pale, white, body that shivered as the female stepped into the water, her straight, black hair floating in the water as she sat, eyes closed, the very tips of her hair shimmered gold in the moonlight. Quiet sigh escaped pale, thin lips as she dipped her head beneath the surface, coming back up and just laying there, relaxed, as if the world was not fighting around her. Which it wasn't. Yet.
Body trembled slightly as a gust of cold air caught her wet skin, causing her to slide a bit further underwater, her neck covered with the warm liquid. The female would have easily frozen were she to step out of the springs right then, but she needed to bathe. She felt disgusting. Her body had been sore from sleeping on the ground in this form, her skin dirty, having been left unwashed for a while. But she needed to relax; the tension in the forest was enough to drive even the most clearheaded creature insane...
Goosebumps rose along her neck as she sat up to look around, the water just barely covering her breasts as golden eyes peered at the forest around her, the beautiful moon shining down on the trees, almost full. Smiling contentedly, the female threw her head back and howled, a beautiful sound to her ears, as her voice was so pure, so innocent in this form. And howling... The thought of such things brought forth a shudder of happiness; she lived for the wolves, as she was one of them, barely, but she could change that whenever she wished...
Thoughts drifted to Faarin, the one that she had kept them away from for so long. Was it really as much time as it had seemed? Eyes closed lightly, body relaxing once more as she let her mind wander. She missed him, she knew that. But had she truly loved him? And him her? He could have been trying to convert her to evil, being no better than his god. She felt her eyebrows draw together and dismissed the thought; she didn't think that anyone could be that manipulative... Could they? Wanting to just stop thinking, she contemplated getting out of the water, deciding to wait for a few more moments before nearly freezing herself to death.

The sound of wings broke through the silence of the night like a razor blade as a silver creature landed gracefully by the side of the pool. Yellow eyes shone down curiously from the head as it turned to the side and gazed upon the female. He had heard the howl as he made his rounds that night, and knew that he had to stop. It had been long since he had last seen her. It occurred to the male that perhaps she did not remember him; so much had gone on recently. But even if she didn't remember, that was alright. It was better if she didn't know him, honestly.
The God of darkness mostly left him alone these days. She had far more important things to do than just watching him. Yes, she did often give him orders as to what to do, but that was to be expected. It was a time of war, and he was her minion. All he did was her bidding. Well, at least he didn't have to worry as much as usual. And there was a small chance that she would catch him meeting with Boshaani again. Not that she would suspect or anything. She was too naive to believe that he would deceive her again.
At this, the dragon's mouth turned up into a perfect smile, revealing neatly kept teeth. Silver scales flicked the light of the moon as he curved his tail slightly forward. He folded his wings patiently at his side as he waited for a response from the female, that is, if she was going to say anything at all.

Upon hearing the noise above her, the female jumped up, realized how cold she was, and dove back into the water, sending water up into the air and all around. Yelp slipped from her mouth as she did a belly-flop into the water, which soon hurt, her chest refusing to expand and let her take in air for a moment or so. As she regained her composure, she looked around, giving a startled yip as she noticed the dragon. It seemed somehow familiar; its scent only added to the memories that had been assaulting her conscious, though she ignored these, left wondering who the dragon was. Assuming that it had eaten the one that she had once loved, she watched it coldly, wondering why such an 'amazing' god would let that happen to such a loyal subject.
Meeting the dragon's gaze, she steeled herself against him. She didn't know what he might be able to do, nor did she care. She had been alone for far too long once again and had forgotten what it was like to be around others. So she ignored the need to be spoken to, the need to be touched, held... As far as she cared, they weren't there. And so she watched him, her naked body hidden beneath the water, though it was transparent and provided little shield from prying eyes. Not like she cared about a dragon. They didn't bother her; she wasn't afraid to die and she knew that, if she was at all able, she would go down fighting. As a true warrior should.
