The roar of the waterfall reverberated inside the young vixen's dial, and, as she stumbled closer to the water's edge, the roar of sound got louder and louder, up to a point where she almost couldn't bear it. The adolescent she-wolf dragged her worn out bodice as close as she could get to the falls, before letting herself fall to the ground, causing dust clouds to be shot up into the air, allowing the tiny particles to settle in her mud and blood soaked pelt.
The fea looked worn out, and she was, both physically and mentally. Her sky-blue orbs were half closed, and the slit of visible colour was glazed with exhaustion. Her ivory and creme pelt was caked with mud, large clumps of it drying to form mats of fur and dirt. Two small cuts were visible on the vixen's cheek, the fine trickle of blood had long since dried.
It took a while before the wolf pup was able to stand, her lean pillars shaking underneath her. She took a few, trembling steps towards the water, until her front paws were at the very edge, the toes curling against the edge. She cast one, tired gaze at her reflection, and she felt a deep sigh form in her chest. As she was about to let it out, her gaze fell upon her reflected stare. The breath caught in her throat.
Mama we all go to hell,
Mama we all go to hell.
I'm writing this letter and wishing you well,
Mama we all go to hell...
Oh well, now....
Mama we're all gonna die...
Mama we're all gonna die.
Stop asking me questions,
I'd hate to see you cry.
Mama we're all gonna die...
Behind the glazed look, was something...dark. As the vixen crouched down, so that her coal-black nose was almost touching the water, she gazed into her own orbs, and she saw her brother, her father glaring back at her. She slowly realised that she was looking into the orbs of one that was...evil. Twisted. Call it whatever you want, but it all boiled down to the same thing. This pup was no longer the carefree, kind-hearted pup of her childhood. She had seen death. The blood of several generations worth of pure evil ran through her veins, and now, she felt take over her pure heart, her good soul. A pain flared into like in her head, in her chest, and she cried out in pain. Her whole maw was contorted with the pain. Her small, yet razor-sharp claws dug into the cracked earth beneath her paws, and her plume swished behind her in a agitated manner. Beads of sweat formed 'pon her brow, and she clutched at the ground, as though she was afraid to fall off of the very earth.
And when we go don't blame us ,yeah...
We'll let the fires just bathe us ,yeah...
You made us oh so famous,
We'll never let you go.
And when you go don't return to me my love...
As quickly as it had come, the pain vanished, leaving the young femme breathless, and curled up upon the floor. Her whole body shook; a reaction to the pain. Fine tears welled in her orbs, and she promptly closed them, for she knew she couldn't cry. She wouldn't. When she felt it safe, her orbs opened, and she raised her dial, to look around the area, to make sure she was alone. When she assured herself that the terra was deserted except herself, she got to her feet. Oddly, this time, her limbs stood firm. Once more, she cast her gaze to the rippling water, and the evil in her eyes was much more pronounced. A soft smirk flitted across the vixen's youthful features. It had happened. Her soul had turned fully. She was one with evil now.
Mama we're all full of lies,
Mama we're meant for the flies.
And right now they're building a coffin your size...
Mama we're all full of lies.

A figure moved swiftly through the forest, blending in easily with the darkness created by the tall, twisted trees. Only a small amount of light penetrated through the foliage; but that was all for the better. He liked it better when it was dark, even if it didn't matter that much. Feet moved gracefully through the green, barely even making a slight noise, as the human-looking male moved on. It wasn't until he came to the river that he paused. Medium brown eyes blinked at the scene. He had always enjoyed the look of the river. Honestly, he didn't care that much, but he still took the time to see it every now and then.
Walking skillfully along the edge, he worked his way up to where the waterfall was. The creature was not surprised in the slightest bit at what he saw before him, considering it wasn't really out of the ordinary, yet he still stopped to look. A black wolf stood by the water, staring into the deep blue. She had not seen him enter. But that too was not out of the ordinary. He knew that he walked silently. Most would not notice him coming from behind. Which was quite fine. Still standing there, the male let himself decide what he wanted to do, not that it was really a big deal or anything. He had no real need at the moment, so that canceled out. Nor did he care to deal with a fight for any reason. And finally, there was nowhere better to go at the moment. Thinking for only a few more seconds, he made up his mind and simply turned away from the fae and sat by the water, a few feet away. With this done, he turned back to his thoughts and absentmindedly hummed a song quietly to himself. His face twisted into a smile often caused by the notes.
He didn't care if she noticed him. If she didn't, he would just keep to himself and continue with his thoughts and whatnot. And if she did, he'd probably just talk to her; all the while carefully concealing his fangs in order to not scare her. And whatever would happen, would happen. If he had to fight, so be it. If he grew bored, oh well. It really didn't matter.

Peach turned her dial from left to right, her blue-tinted gaze fixed ‘pon her reflection. Physically, she looked no different; she was still the same young, weak pup she had been a handful of hours ago. Her gaze drifted to her orbs’ reflection, and, finally, she spotted a difference. Her bright, sparkling blue orbs no longer contained warmth, compassion, hope…mercy. The twin azure pools obtained a sharp, brittle edge to them, as two frosted ponds would appear. Her once loving gaze was replaced by a sharp glare, which stared down at her mirror dismissively. Despite the frostiness, a strange fire seemed to dance behind the lens, the flame licking at the pupil, the edges of the iris, giving Peach a very demonic look, in eyes at least. Such orbs did not belong to any normal wolf cub. A satisfied smirk crossed Peach’s maw. But you’re not a normal wolf cub…, A small, chuckling voice said in the corners of her mind, You are much more…
See the devil on the doorstep now…
Telling everybody oh just how to live their lives.
Sliding down the information highway,
Buying in just like a bunch of fools,
Time is ticking and we can't go back…
A low, throaty snarl rumbled in her maw. You would not expect such a sound to come from a creature as this. It was menacing, the type of snarl that would send shivers down your spine, and make the hairs on your arms stand to attention. Almost at once, the mud-caked fur on her nape stood on end, or as far as it could go, the weight of the dried mud dragging it back down. Yet Peach felt the slight prickle on her skin despite this, and she turned on the spot, to face the surrounding trees, and the shadows that lurked in the spaces. Her orbs swept the terra in low, cutting arcs, the pupils strangely narrowed. Again, she felt that irrepressible feeling she was being watched. It was as if the whole forest was watching her, waiting to see her fall to pieces. The young vixen snorted at such thoughts, and dipped a small, ivory-and-brown-stained paw into the refreshingly cool waters. She let it trail for a few seconds, watching the ripples with a flickering gaze that did not settle, before dragging it back out, feeling a tiny trickle of the liquid run down her extended pillar. She put the watered paw to her maw, and brushed mud and dust free from the two cuts that marked her. She didn’t want them to get infected. That was the last thing she needed right now.
You keep watching from your picket fence,
You keep talking but it makes no sense.
You say we're not responsible,
But we are, we are…
You wash your hands and come out clean,
Fail to recognise the enemies within.
You say we're not responsible,
But we are, we are, we are, we are…
One step forward making two steps back,
Riding piggy on the bad boys back for life.
Lining up for the grand illusion…
No answers for no questions asked,
Lining up for the execution…
Without knowing why.
As she finished this particular task, she suddenly felt another presence near her. Automatically, she turned to look into the gloom behind her. But, no, it was more to her left…Turning slightly, she finally located the presence near her. It seemed to belong to a human, as Peach surveyed him. No gleam of interest flickered over her maw as she realised this; humans weren’t exactly rare in the Forest, and Peach had learnt not to be afraid of them anymore.
As Peach ran her cold gaze over him, she sensed something…different. He didn’t seem to be like most humans. Peach let it pass, and turned back, to stare into the deep abyss beneath her, which seemed oddly comforting.
It's all about power then,
Take control.
Breaking the rule,
Breaking the soul,
They suck us dry till there's nothing left...
What about the world today.
What about the place that we call home,
We' ve never been so many,
And we've never been so alone....

Behind the young pup, the ebony bitch was overlooked, her glossy pelt blending seamlessly with the dank shadow she so often used as camouflage in cases like this. It was handy, when she wanted to watch a creature without fear of being seen. And Mercury had been watching this young pup for a little while now. Her reasons? If she had any, she was keeping them close to her chest. The slender femme had her sights trained onto the pup, her ice-blue orbs twin pools of unspoken evil. She ignored the human. She had no time for humans. They spoke too often and were too loud. Mercury could hear them coming a mile off. No, the human’s presence was a mere circumstance. He would no hinder her in the slightest.

Vince instantly picked up the presence of another wolf, without even turning around, as soon as she came by. It was not like he could see her or anything. It was just that he could smell her. He could smell her presence, her form, her blood. It was also obvious to him that she was evil. He could feel that in her just being nearby. He took note of this in his mind, considering it could be a slight threat. Not too much, but slight. Mostly because he did such a good job of looking human that she might take that as a weakness. It has happened before. But that, of course, only ended badly on the other creature's part. It's not like they could protect themselves from him. It's not like they could escape. The twisted smile re-formed itself on Vince's lips at this thought.
Concentrating back on the view before him again, he returned to his thoughts. However, he was always careful to make sure that at least a small part of him was paying attention to the scene beginning to form behind him. With this he would always be ready for anything. Not that he had a problem when things happened suddenly. He was always able to stay calm during anything. Never did he have anything to really be afraid of anyway. The male chuckled quietly to himself and began to hum again. Oh, he really loved what he was. That was for sure.
