Scout sighed as he walked through the halls with a simple black shirt, blue jeans and his teacher pin on his right side, clearly stating "Scout Sakaro" and underneath "Art Teacher" He had made a pin for his assisant, but this was Scout's first year as the art teacher..he may work a bit different than this student. He sighed as he flipped through his papers he held and looked at the boy's name. 'Dakota'...It was one of his brother's name. He shivered at remebering as he reached his door and opened the art room. He was a bit surprised to see that it was in use. The student must have had a key.
Never-the-less, Scout went to his office and placed his papers down. He had a lot planned but it was still a few weeks before school offically started, so it gave him time. He wanted to relax though she he walked out and grabbed an empty canvas. Taking it to an stand he grabbed a few oil pants and some different stroke brushes as he started.
The picture began to form quickly. It was beautiful, used with many different colors and not at all reality. Yet it was, the picutre was of Jaz, her face beautifully reconized and her eyes that seemed to look into the soul of the on-looker. He smiled as he focused his work on her lips now, grabbing different shades and making a a slight mess on his new jeans. He didn't care..it happened a lot anyways.

Moments later, the boy entered the class. He was used to the room, having been there for three years already. It wasn't uncommon for him to skip other classes just to come out here, but the old teacher eventually started noticing that he couldn't possibly have that many free classes. So Dakota had to stop going there as much. But in general, the teacher was good. He had enjoyed Dakota's work, but in such a way as if he couldn't understand it. Probably from the darkness of it. Of course, Dakota had never showed him his prized pieces, but that goes without saying. Most of the stuff he did in school was fairly light for him. But he'd get... well, noticed if he went any darker.
Dakota entered the familiar room to immediately see who he guessed was the new teacher. It was pretty obvious really - he was painting. Walking toward him, the senior took a good look at the painting. It was of a young girl. On closer inspection he realized that he had met that girl just recently. She was the odd one that only had art class. Shrugging, he ignored that and felt the need to make his presence known. "I'm guessing you're the new art teacher." He grinned, folding his arms against his chest. "I'm the assistant. Dakota Catcher, senior, 4th year of art." With that he stood silently, waiting the teachers response. He wondered what kind of teacher this man would be. Hopefully he wouldn't be strict or annoying. Then again, that would only result in Dakota skipping entire school days more often, but what's the fun of school if there's no art class to look forward to?

Scout turned as he heard the boy's voice. He smiled as he introduced himself to Scout. He nodded once. "..Scout Sakaro..Scout is just fine." He said, not refering himself to a teacher at all. "It's good that I have you to help me out..I'm a bit new to the school system but hopefully all will work out.." He then covered his painting with a single sheet as he walked to the sink and began cleaing the brushes. ".Since you are a fourth year..do you have knowledge about jelewry making?" He asked as he finished and rinsed the brushes, placing them back in the many jars. The art room was tidy, aside from the already many full pictures that students had left or just made.
Scout still couldn't get over the fact that the boy's name was Dakota. Sure he was a lot nicer than his big brother named that, but still..just the name got to him. He pushed that aside though as he walked back over. "I have made a few new changes.." He then reached for his notebook and handed to him. "They are very simple..(Basically the 'You're grade is in danger' on the forum) I would like to make a bigger sign and place it within the class..otherwise you and your classmate's will be pretty free to do what you want..I'll be getting a new air brush unit in within the next few weeks." He said as he then walked away from Dakota. "I'll just really need help with managing the students and making sure everyone that needs help gets it..especially the freshman.." He added as he walked to his office to retrieve his list. Not many were on just yet..maybe it was because he was a new teacher afterall.
