Hold On 2 Let Go: Ryhnix was low on money and food again. Yes, he did have enough to survive, but it still made him nervous to know that there was not much. There had not been a lot others that he could attack lately. Perhaps they had grown conscience that there was a vampire living among them. Or maybe they just had not felt the need to wander the streets at the time. Yes, it must be the latter. They would be back. They always were. However, the vampire still needed to get more money. So, as usual, he left home and out into the streets of Kryome. The area was always lighted here and there with various things. Never was it completely dark, though many of the allies were impossible to navigate. Ryhnix did not walk on the sidewalk, that was the most dangerous place, for anyone, to be. It could be seen from all around, and by whoever would watching at the time. Instead, he paced among the shadows, his black clothes blending in perfectly against the dark buildings. Only his eyes could be seen, glowing slightly whenever light from elsewhere shined into them. Sharp fangs would have been visible as well, if they were not safely hidden in the depths of his closed mouth. Time when by, and he only continued to walk on. Finally, the creature came to the place he had been in search of. It was a place he often visited. It calmed him. But not only that. It also had the best view of the main street of the city. None others new about the spot, as it was quite hidden out of view. But Ryhnix had one day discovered it, and was quite glad of this. The spot was simply the top of the old metal stairs of an abandoned home, much like his own. However, the way that the light falls upon the stairs, the top becomes completely covered in darkness. It is fairly high up as well. Impossible to see from the ground for these reasons, but absolutely perfect for watching the streets below. Upon arriving here, the vampire stealthily run up the stairs and sat silently on the very top. He settled himself down for a long wait, eyes wide open, in hope to see any unfortunate victims that happened to cross his path.
DeformedForLife: Shaye and her servants had finally found a city. They had left their old house only days prior in search of a new step in life, seeing as both of the young girl's parents were now dead. Her mother had died much earlier in life, during Shaye's birth, but her father only recently died from some rare disease. Stopping at the town's gate, Shaye and her followers watched the metal entrance open up. Once it was finished, the travelers stepped into Kryome, not knowing what to expect. Slowly, the made their way further up the main street, looking around cautiously for any sign of danger. Shaye wasn't as worried as her servants, being hidden and all. Her black cloak was the perfect thing to conceal her in the dark. She took down her hood, revealing pale features. Straight brunette hair fell on her shoulders and a faint smile appeared on her face. I'm finally away from my old boring life...
Hold On 2 Let Go: Out of the darkness of an ally off to the side of the main street came a human raid group that may have been waiting there for several hours. They were all dressed in black except for the red scarf that each of them had wrapped across their necks. Eyes flared with fire of madness and cruelty as they charged forward at the girl and her protectors. Hands held swords and guns out as they ran at the newcomers, their intentions clear. As they came close upon those they ambushed, they circled around them making it impossible for them to escape. Their mouths, the only visible thing below their black hoods, turned up into smiles. They had them just where they wanted them. Now all they had to do was move in for the kill and take what they had come for. The raid group did not stop for even a moment, however, and soon were upon the small group. Gun shots sounded through the streets. The clash of swords and knives on the skin of those undefended rang all around. Death had fallen upon many within moments, as the raid group moved in to kill all those on the scene. There was silence from the group, they need not to say a word to each other. The plan was simple. Kill all, take all.
DeformedForLife: Blood-curdling screams and the gashing of skin could be heard by anyone within an earshot. One by one, Shaye's servants were murdered without mercy. Most dead, three remaining. Shaye was out cold, laying on the ground almost lifeless. Two of her servants were still alive, trying there best to defend their lives, as well as their responsibility. It was their job, their duty to protect Shaye at all costs. but were failing miserably. Still unconscious, the young girl laid still, not making one movement, not showing one sign of life. There was no way her two remaining protectors would be able to save her! They could barely fight off the raid!
Hold On 2 Let Go: Ryhnix had been deeply absorbed into his own thoughts and watching the streets as closely as possible when he noticed that a small group of humans had entered the city. One look at them showed that they were not locals to Kryome. They walked down the main street. No sane mortal would walk the main street if they knew the city. Oh, it was the place of crime. Millions had been brutally murdered for simply entering the area. So obviously these humans were not familiar in the city. This, of course, was just what the vampire had been waiting for. But he knew better than to go right into an attack. He knew that he could never be the only one watching. No, no, there were others... A moment later, Ryhnix was rewarded with being correct. A large human raid group had moved in on the humans. They immediately began attacking and soon the sounds of death filled the streets. The vampire watched the battle with mild interest, but made no move to enter it. He knew what the raid groups were like. And he knew quite well what he was doing. Finally, when the attackers were completely distracted with the fight, and the defenders were putting up as best fight they could, Ryhnix made his way back down the stairs. He kept close to the buildings, he could not afford to be seen. It would ruin the whole plan. As soon as he was close enough, he gave up his cover. With a running start, he leaped into the battle by jumping on the closest human and sinking his teeth deep into the neck. This was the most important attack. If it was done correctly, he could take out any other without problem. Fangs hit the right vein and blood gushed out and down Ryhnix's throat. With this, eyes blazed with replenished fire. No one could stop him now. No, not when he was fired up like this. Whipping the blood off of his mouth, he moved toward the other humans. Within seconds, he skillfully killed the rest, be it the raid group, or the small human group. A grin appeared on his mouth as he looked over the scene, and as he did so, fangs showed clearly. Blood dripping slowly down his chin from them. Then it caught his eye. He had not really killed them all. At his first attack, a few members of the raid group grabbed what loot they could and ran off into the shadows. Ryhnix had killed the others just in time to see them disappear into an ally. He knew he could not get them. There was no point anyway, he had just what he needed right here. And at that thought, the vampire continued to drink blood and begin to search through the possessions of the dead.
RandomHybridOne: Shaye's followers were now either dead or had run away. The sixteen year old was now left to fend or herself? That would be no problem for a girl like herself if she weren’t still knocked out cold. Shaye's lifeless body lay still on the ground. Though she appeared dead, she was only unconscious, and thoughts were still rushing through her head... she was in such confusion.
What the heck happened? Why did those people attack us... we didn't do anything...
Trapped in her head, Shaye made no movements except for a slight shift. Hopefully this hadn't caught the vampire's attention... it was too early for her to die...
Hold On 2 Let Go: The problem would be that even a slight movement would have easily caught Ryhnix's eye... And it did. At the moment, he was searching through one of the dead human's pockets. A few gold coins were in his hands, and he was in the process of pulling a few more out. Suddenly, something moved. Normally, many things moved. But not after the vampire had just killed a group of people. Dropping the coins, he turned to look about, eyes shifting quickly about, hoping to find the living before they were able to escape. As he turned, he found who it had been. A young girl, of which he had thought had been killed early on before he had even got there, had only been knocked unconscious. Ryhnix, of course, would have to fix that. It was not like he hadn't killed a girl before. It would be no bigger deal than any other person. And besides, what was the use of letting her escape? Moving in quickly on the girl, he kneeled down beside her. Eyes were fixed to her neck, mouth opened to reveal fangs drenched with blood. He then moved in for the kill...
RandomHybridOne: Before Ryhnix's fangs could even touch Shaye's neck, green-yellow eyes fluttered open. At the sight of the pale vampire, the girl's blood rushed out of her face in fear. Eyes starting welling up with tears, knowing that, most likely, this was the end of the line for her. Bursting into tears, Shaye laid on the ground, petrified and unable to move. She knew that if she made any change in her position, the vampire would be more apt to make his bite quick. It's not like he had any reason to spare the girl... did he? She was just another human, he had killed dozens before, what would make her any different?
Hold On 2 Let Go: Before the vampire had been able to bite the girl into her eternal death, she woke up. Eyes, beautiful green-yellow eyes opened. Ryhnix stared deep into them and could no longer control himself. He wanted to bite her... but instead he hesitated. Stepping back, only out of shock, he continued to look at her. She was scared. That much he knew to be fact. Her face had gone white with fear, and tears had begun to fall. Oh, she could never be more scared then she was at this moment. Usually, Ryhnix loved the feeling. The feeling of having scared a poor, mortal human senseless, and then being able to laugh at him or her as they died under his sharp fangs. But the vampire did not feel it. No, he couldn't even comprehend what it was that he was feeling. Her green eyes had stunned him, and he knew there was no way that he could kill her now. Oh, he wanted to. More than anything did he love to kill. But he could not. Turning away from her, he fled without another look or the slightest word. Only did he stop to pick his rewards from those that he had killed. And once done, he leaped off into the darkness with only the intent of returning home and sorting through his winnings of the day.
RandomHybridOne: Watching as the vampire fled, Shaye's tears subsided and she was finally able to stand up. Wiping her eyes, she breathed out a sigh of relief. Blinking, she decided to run after the creature that had almost taken her life. Stepping into the shadows, Shaye spotted Ryhnix. Smiling slightly, she snuck up on him until she was only a few feet away and let a slight mutter escape her lips.
"No one tries to kill me and get away with it..."
Smirking, Shaye stood still, not wanting anyone to find her and kill her as the vampire had attempted. She still didn't understand why he had let her free... wasn't it the nature of a creature such as him to show no mercy?
Hold On 2 Let Go: Ryhnix returned to his abandoned home in his usual silence. Rarely did he ever talk, even to himself. He was walked fairly quickly, wanting to get home as quick as possible. It was tiring to kill a whole group of people, and he needed to rest. But there were still many things to do before he would be able to do so. The vampire hated to be disorganized, therefore always made sure everything was put safely away before going to sleep. Within a few minutes, he was at his home. Climbing silently up the metal stairs, he entered the main room that was just about the whole house. Not that it mattered. He lived with no one, and didn't need much space because of it. Ryhnix had already put the girl far out of his mind. There was no need to care, nor even think about her. So, he pulled things out of his pockets and carefully placed them on the table one at a time. Then, he walked over to a spot in the house where the only thing was numerous cardboard boxes carefully stacked. Picking up one of the ones near the bottom, he placed that on the table as well. With all well, he began to observe each object and then place it neatly in the empty box. Never did he have even the slightest thought that someone may have been following him...
RandomHybridOne: Being as curious and risky as Shaye was, she continued to follow Ryhnix. Though she seemed fearless, in the back of her mind, she knew this was a stupid idea. What if he changed his mind about sparing her life? What if he kills her this time? Her heart started beating fast as he came into view. She hid in the shadows of his home, not making any movements or sounds, because that would be almost a death wish. She kept her breathing quiet and soft, her cloak blending into the black that surrounded here. Shaye took a few more steps closer, though ever so cautious not to disrupt the silence.
Hold On 2 Let Go: Ryhnix was about half way done sorting his treasures. There had been so many today, and that was a good thing. But it also meant a lot of work for him. However, so far there was a good amount of money, and he really had needed that. So everything was good, and the vampire was fairly happy. It was then that he realized something. It was only a slight feeling, but he was pretty sure that there was someone else nearby. Someone in his home... Putting down what he was doing, Ryhnix began to look about the room. The only place that someone could be hidden was in the front near the entrance. There were shadows there, and it was the only possible hiding place. Walking closer to the spot, he extended his hand and once close enough grabbed out at whoever was there. In one swift movement, he pulled him or her out of the shadows, up close to his face, and bared his fangs. But now that the person was in the light, he could tell who it was. It was the girl. With a sigh of disgust, he threw her back against the wall. He stepped away and glared at her in anger. At that moment, he was just so pissed off. Why had this girl followed him home after he had just almost killed her?! Finally, he broke the silence and yelled out at her, his words cruel and by far angry.
"Why the hell did you follow a vampire home, goddamnit?!"
RandomHybridOne: Feeling a sharp pain in her back as she hit the wall, Shaye winced. Glaring at him, she gritted her teeth. She didn't like the way Ryhnix was acting, but hey, what more would you expect from a blood-thirsty vampire that had almost killed you? You sure as heck couldn't expect a warm welcome...
"Now what the fuck was that for? Sheesh, you didn't have to throw me against the wall..."
